What Is CrossFit?

The CrossFit program that you see and watch on TV can be intimidating. For some, motivating.

Although the needs of an olympic athlete and our grandparents differ by degree. It is still necessary to walk, bend over, pick things up and maintain a healthy heart. Whether you're looking to lose weight and get healthy, increase your speed and power for sports or compete in CrossFit. GSR FIT is here to guide you.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, sports, and life all reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our armed forces, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

I'm new to CrossFit. What should I expect?

When you first come to GSR CrossFit, you’ll start out with a free intro session where you come in for a baseline workout, meet us, chat with our coaches, and talk with a trainer about your goals. To get started today, just click here.

Is CrossFit dangerous?

With inexperienced coaches, shoddy equipment and the wrong attitude, CrossFit can be dangerous – but so can riding your bike or driving your car. The experienced and proven CrossFit coaches you’ll find at our facility will ensure that you’re training in the safest, most effective and efficient way possible.

What's a WOD?

A WOD is the workout of the day. We program a different WOD everyday.
